‘Khan Yunis is now a combat zone’: Bombardments resume across the Gaza Strip

After a seven-day ceasefire, fighting has resumed in the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces report hitting “over 200 terror targets” while the Palestinian health ministry in the Hamas-controlled enclave reported at least 100 deaths by the afternoon of December 1. Strikes have spread from the north to the south of Gaza, where many civilians have taken refuge.
